I just happen to remember this editorial of Isabeli Fontana for French Vogue from a while ago, I thought the photos were beautiful then and I still think they are now. Amy Winehouse's style and music inspired so many people in so many ways... I just can't get over her death!

Coco Chanel, my Muse!
When I was taking Fashion History in School I had to write a paper about a designer... of course I choose Coco Chanel; simply because I thought it would be fun to research about her Life and Career but had no idea the journey and how involved I was about to get in her story.
Besides all the things I could find on line, I ordered all the movies and books on her life! I think it took me one week to read "A Women of her Own" by Alex Madsen (400 pages!!!) I loved it so much, I couldn't put the book down! I took the story to my dreams. This was before the movie "Coco avant Chanel" was out, I was kind of upset when the movie came out as they skipped so many important details. I ended up writing this massive paper and afterwards found out from my instructor that it couldn't be more than 5 pages...hahaha, I was ready to write a book! Had to cut down to 5 pages but that's ok... it was all worth it! Was one of my favorite school projects! If you are wondering what grade i received... "A"!
It was not an effort at all but pure pleasure and so inspiring to dive into her life and so my respect and love for Chanel was born!
Oh! And I got my first Classic Chanel for Christmas that same year from my husband!!!
Chanel famous quotes:
"In order to be irreplaceable one must always be different. "
"A girl should be two things:
classy and fabulous!"
"A Woman can be over dressed,
but never over elegant."
"Simplicity is the keynote of all true elegance."

Inspiring Lab Art
I just love this gallery... I've been there three times, the place is so inspiring that every time I leave I feel like going straight to the Art store and begin painting!
I was there for the opening, the last live painting event ( yes! live painting event!!! With DJ, drinks and lots of cool people) and stopped by last Saturday with my friend Caroline after lunch. I love their night events but it was really cool to experience the silent day time of the gallery and have Rachel (co-owner) give us the grand tour, talk about the artists, the techniques and really admire the pieces.
I love a lot of pieces but I have my heart set on a special one right now, it will look perfect in my office... Can u guess which one???
There is a lot of amazing art but I photographed the fashion related ones for the blog.
Lab Art is the largest gallery dedicated to street art, located at 217 S. LaBrea Avenue in Los Angeles.
Check it out!!!

Beachers Fun Madhouse!
Beacher & I
What a fun night... Remember when I wrote that I had one of my best friend's in town for only five days? It was 4th of July weekend and my friend Katheryn organized a super fun night to welcome our friend Rubria. She hosted a lovely dinner at her house and afterwards we all went to Beacher's Madhouse!
I didn't know what to expect but was open to something fun and different! Everyone I asked about the show had no clue what it was all about, however the common answer always lead to "little people"... I know how to explain it now but I wont, I will leave at that!
Make sure to order a bottle... it may come from the sky with little people attached to it!!!
Was such a fun night! If you are looking for something different to do it in LA go check it out!

Avicii @ The Music Box Hollywood
Considering a back pain that has been bothering me for days, I found strength to drag myself out of the house to see Avicii last Friday, July 15. I love his music and had so much fun at EDC that needed another dose!!!
He's my favorite Dj right now by far... The event was sold out, but of course when you have friends things can be a "little" different ... Thanks Bere and Dj Avicci him self, who got me and my friend Maura some wrist bands!
I had a lot of fun but thought the acoustic weren't as good as other places... really? What do I know about that? hahaha, just my opinion. Well... my friend was explaining last night that behind the Dj booth is obviously not the best sound, after all, the artist himself needs to be able to hear! To bad I didn't have the guts to go in the middle of the crowd to experience why the best Dj's play at the Music Box! Its ok... now I know for next time!
I had a great night and Avicii rocked!

EDC Las Vegas
I love summer music Festivals; always have a great time at Coachella, been going for a few years now. Love the way it has opened my mind to new artists and the freedom of fashion... I had a lot of fun styling my looks this year!
Thanks to my friend Eric Chambers I decide to check out EDC Las Vegas this year and I was amazed with the "rock star Dj's; Tiesto, Steve Angelo,Afrojack, Benny Benassi, David Guetta, Avicii(my favorite at the moment, he rocked Marquee pool Sunday), Swedish House Mafia...
The event lasted 3 days attracting 70,000-75,000 people on Friday, 85,000 people on Saturday, and 80,000 people on Sunday making it the largest electronic dance festival outside Europe.
I got to Las Vegas Friday night and at LV Motor Speedway when Tiesto was playing, the energy and vibration was almost impossible to describe... I had seen photos and videos but it doesn't compare to the live experience. I was really impressed how organized the event was! Well... We had VIP wrist bands but it looked very orderly for everybody else. I really think Las Vegas is the perfect place to host the event!!!
The LV Motor Speedway was transformed into a giant Amusement Park with lots of things to explore taking you far beyond just the love of the music.
The fashion freedom goes above and beyond Coachella... I thought it was a lot of fun to dress up "Rave style"!
Loved the whole experience: the music, the laughter and all the new people I met!
I don't want to make this post to long I just wanted to share some of my moments and instigate you to make plans for next year!!!
